Preclinical Research in Acute Cardiac and Critical Care – PRAC3!

Welcome to Preclinical Research in Acute Cardiac and Critical Care – PRAC3!

Description

The 2-day PRAC3 (Preclinical Research in Acute Cardiac and Critical Care) meeting is a new ISICEM initiative designed to bring together all those involved in experimental/pre-clinical research in critical care, with a focus on translational cardiogenic shock (including cardiac arrest and mechanical circulatory support) and septic shock investigation. Led by an international faculty of experts in the field, the scientific program will cover multiple relevant topics, including the development and design of clinically-relevant animal models, state-of-the-art research methodology, latest results from research teams, and future perspectives.

PRAC3 is open to anyone with an interest in critical care and cardiology research, including clinical practitioners and other allied healthcare professionals, bioengineers, and industry members. For participants to gain most from the meeting, some personal experience in experimental research is preferable.

PRAC3 will be held annually, and we hope it will rapidly form a key translational link between pre-clinical research and future clinical trial development.
